Lentils
 3 cups water
 2 chicken bouillon cubes
 1 cup red lentils
 1 pinch turmeric
 1 pinch cumin
Shrimp
 1 serving small shrimp (peeled and deveined)
 1 tbsp butter
 1 pinch garlic salt
Finish
 6 broccoli florets
 ½ tsp lemon juice
 fresh parsley

In a medium pot with lid, combine water and bouillon cubes.

Rinse lentils under running water. Add to water pot and bring to a boil. Cover tightly and cook for 5-7 minutes.

In a small sauce pan, melt butter and add pinch of garlic salt. Once melted, add shrimp. Toss to coat and cook through. Remove from heat.

Once lentils are cooked, store 3/4 of the pot in a container. Put the rest into your serving bowl. Top with shrimp.

Add broccoli and a splash of water to your lentil pot. Cover and steam until bright green but still crunchy, about 3 minutes. Add to serving bowl.

Top with fresh parsley and lemon juice.
